Recently, the Iranian Cyber-Police, known as “FATA”, arrested a 14 year old blogger for posting “obscene” content.
This form of censorship is disturbing. If you’re a blogger in the U.S. or any other country that doesn’t completely control people’s Internet behavior, try to gain your viewers attention towards it. Do NOT put up with it.
Through some quick Google searches, I quickly found the Iranian Cyber Police’s website: www.cyberpolice.ir/en/.
You can contact FATA at http://www.cyberpolice.ir/en/node/45. Check out the picture below if you want to see what I sent them (I added .nyud.net in the URL to spoof my IP Address). Update: The contact link and page has been changed, and now they require your phone number. If you really want to submit a legitimate information, you can get a free phone number online at Pinger Textfree.
I highly recommend that you contact them with a similar message as mine below.

For privacy reasons, I recommend some form of IP Spoofing. Personally, I just added .nyud.net to the end of the URL, although I recommend a VPN (VPNBook, IPVanish). VPNBook is offshore and free – IPVanish is paid. I recommend IPVanish since they maintain a large amount of dedicated servers all over the world.
Hopefully I’ll get an email back from them soon. I’m looking forward to hearing from them.
Furthermore, I looked up the domain’s whois info (public database – completely legal to lookup), and here’s what I found. I won’t publish all of it, since not that much of the information is useful.
Person: naja fata
Org: naja
E-mail: [email protected]
Address: Tehran, Tehran, Tehran, IR
Phone: 021
Source: IRNIC # Filtered
I found cached/old whois data, and the address was different. It was:
Address: No 4, Afriqa St, A Nour, Tehran, Tehran, IR
That’s odd. Obviously the address “Tehran, Tehran, Tehran, IR” isn’t correct, so maybe their old address is correct.
Note: I’m not responsible for what you do with this information. All this information is and has been completely public. I’m not “leaking” anything. I’m simply bringing attention to it.
